Hi and welcome to our website from the team at Doerr Stud UK. We are located in South East England, Kent and have been working with horses for over 20 years. We are passionate about connecting people with their perfect equine companion.
 
Our Founder, Riley, has produced and trained both horses and dogs for the military, television and film, for over 10 years.
"I started competing in Dressage at a young age to PSG level and moved to Italy to open my own competition yard. My yard was very close to a Military barracks and I was employed to school their eventing team. I had wonderful success with some amazing horses. I met some incredible people along the way and moved on to producing horses that were able to be sold in Rome to the film industry. Being able to train a horse to safely carry any type of rider to do an array of tasks, be it competing, stunts, or just a safe happy hacker, is my passion."
 
"Now back in the UK after four beautiful children, I'm dedicated to providing those forever horses, to the right owners again. This is not a huge sales yard that churns out horses weekly. We never have more than 6 horses at the yard. The safety of our buyers and the welfare of every animal here, comes before profit."
